Delicious Orange Shrimp sauteed in sweet and sour, citrus sauce and served over tangy, orange quinoa.
Delicious Orange Shrimp made into a light dinner. Sauteed shrimp without any breading and it’s served over quinoa instead of rice. Lightened up but full of all the wonderful flavors. Orange chicken’s got nothing on this dish!
Of course, if you don’t like quinoa for any reason, you can always substitute for rice. Just cook rice according to the package instruction and still add orange and sriracha while it’s cooking, as per the recipe. That’s actually what I did for my husband because he’s not too into quinoa. To be completely honest, he is not into seafood either so I made it for him with chicken. It was just as tasty but shrimp would be my first choice every time.

I love shrimp. It’s one of the few seafoods my son will eat. Gotta try this recipe.

You’ve hit on our weakness — spicy. Well, Italian is another weakness and cheese and , I guess I could go on all day 🙂 Love to cook and love to eat GOOD food. I like how you seasoned your quinoa and didn’t just rely on the seasoning with the shrimp. I think I’ll try to bring out the lemon seasoning in my lemon chicken when I have it with quinoa. Thank you for the inspiration. But to tell you the truth you are always inspiring me along with your fantastic photos. Have a great weekend.

Thank you!! I hope you’ll like it.
Sometimes I make some quick quinoa for myself and that’s when I started flavoring the quinoa itself 🙂
