Cookie Dough Chocolate Cookies

Have you every thought about what an Oreo cookie might taste like filled with cookie dough instead of cream?

No? I must be the only one who thinks of crazy things like that.

This cookie was actually inspired by my son who always has to try cookie dough and batter while I’m baking. If you’re like him and just love raw cookie dough, this treat will be perfect for you.

I always question whether it’s safe to try the raw cookie dough and raw batter because it contains uncooked eggs. So, I always tell him to only had a tiny little taste.

With this cookie dough, you can go bananas! Eat all you want but you may want to save enough to add to the cookies because these chocolate cookie sandwiches are amazing combined with the cookie dough.

  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
