Perfect side dish to bring with you to a barbecue or a picnic. This Blue Cheese Coleslaw is absolutely delicious, made with vinegar dressing and blue cheese crumbles.
BLUE CHEESE COLESLAW
This is my new favorite coleslaw recipe and if you’d try it, it will be yours too!
Another dish inspired by something I tried at a restaurant. I was at Poe’s Tavern a couple of weeks ago for the first time and I loved it. It’s a nice place just a short walk away from the beach and the food was great. I tried their Buffalo Shrimp Tacos (if you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw it) and they were fantastic! I know, I know…me and my buffalo style dishes. I can’t help it, I love it!
Well, my shrimp tacos were made with blue cheese coleslaw. I thought it was a great idea because buffalo sauce and blue cheese go so well together, you can’t go wrong. Tacos were amazing but I really got into the coleslaw.
Of course, I had to run home and figure out this coleslaw. First of all, I’ve never tried coleslaw that wasn’t creamy and I think that now I prefer it made with a vinaigrette vs. creamy.
This is really not a complicated recipe to figure out and I made it just the way I would like it. It came out amazing!! I really urge you to give it a try, even if you think you are a die-hard creamy coleslaw fan!
