How is it middle of August already? I didn’t even notice summer this year. It seems to be getting shorter and shorter. I remember having three full months off from school when I was a kid and now, they barely have two.

My little guy has his first day back to school on Monday. It just seems a little too soon! I am not looking forward to the busy mornings again. Not only that little guy never sleeps past 6:30 (nope, I never need an alarm clock and can’t even remember the last time I used one) but I also never go to bed before 12. This makes for one drag of a morning.

I don’t usually have time for breakfast myself. There is just enough time to make breakfast for the little bit, make some coffee for myself, make little man’s lunch and get him ready for school. So while he has his breakfast, all relaxed and watching his morning cartoons, I run around from room to room getting him ready for the day. Perfect breakfast would be something that I can just sip while I run around and/or take it with me while I drive him to school. Breakfast smoothie is just right!!

I have plenty of peaches around this time of year, since it’s peach season, and they are so perfectly juicy! Peaches and Cream smoothie is a perfect breakfast to help get back into school routine.

I make my breakfast smoothies with Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk and it is so good! All silk products are dairy-free and gluten-free. (You can read up on the benefits of plant-based diet on their site!) Plus I like the way Almond and Coconut milk tastes!

  2. 5 stars
Absolutely delish! I used 2 peaches instead of one and sugar instead of honey. I also added 1/4 cup oats and 2 T flax seeds.

    1. Vanessa, I am so glad you liked it!!!
