White Wedding Cake Milkshake

There is not a doubt in my mind that it’s more amazing than usual because I used a new ingredient in it. I used a new International Delight Creamer.

White Wedding Cake Milkshake is an incredibly delicious smooth and creamy milkshake. It combines frozen yogurt, creamer, and cake mix for the rich flavor and texture.

My fellow blogger readers will definitely understand what I’m talking about and for the rest of my lovely readers, I will give a little insight to food blogging. These delicious and pretty recipes pop into your mailbox several times a week but what you may not know is what it takes for that to happen on my end.

Every day, I jump out of bed, jump out of the shower or just jump up and run to my notepad because I have another idea for a recipe. Then I may have to run to the store and get the ingredients I need. I cook/bake all while the little one is tugging on my leg because he suddenly wants to play and the big one keeps whining that he is hungry and the smell is making him hungrier. Then the food is ready….I have to take a picture. This is not a magazine photoshoot, where you have all the time in the world and half the ingredients are fake, so I only have a couple of minutes to take pictures. (All while they are whining if they can eat yet.) My husband has threatened several times to start a “Food Blogger’s Husbands” support group and their slogan would be “I just want to have a warm meal!”

Well, I’m telling you all that because I made a mistake of not making a lot of this milkshake before I was taking pictures. I had a little bit leftover after pouring in into the glass and I thought it would keep them occupied white I was shooting. Not so much! Within seconds, they burst into the room for more milkshake. If I zoom out on this picture, you will see two faces hovering over it, impatiently waiting for me to say that I’m done.

Yes, the milkshake was THAT amazing! There is not a doubt in my mind that it’s more amazing than usual because I used a new ingredient in it. I used a new International Delight Creamer. It’s the Cold Stone Creamery ID creamer! Imagine…ice cream flavored creamer…ice cream + coffee! Summer perfection!
