Amazing hot chocolate that tastes just like Mounds chocolate candy bar. Dark hot chocolate infused with coconut flavor right in the drink.
My crazy coconut obsession has gotten me to the point where I am trying to include it everywhere. Last week, it made its way into our hot chocolate, and boy, it was gooood! At first, I thought of making an Almond Joy hot chocolate, since it’s my favorite candy, but hubs didn’t like the idea of adding almond flavor to it. So I went with Mounds, which meant dark chocolate and I got to keep my coconut. This drink tastes JUST like Mounds candy bar…awesome!
I gave up on wishing for a white, or even cold, Christmas this year. We are still not having anything below 75 degrees here and on Christmas, they’re promising 81. It’s like all my whining is not even working. I should have asked Santa for some cooler weather instead of a cute new jacket. Santa, aka me, was nice and bought me the jacket early but now, I’m just hoping I’ll be able to wear it at all this year. Apparently, you have to be very specific with your wishes and if you wish for a new jacket, remember to wish for some cooler weather to wear it in too.
But on the bright side, we are planning on setting up our holiday dinner outside since it will be so warm. (Ha, may be we can even hit the beach afterwards.) Come to think of it, I don’t think we’ve had such a warm Christmas before. I will have to make an ice cream cake for dessert, that could be fun and noone will be too cold to eat it. But even if we will be all in short sleeves and summer dresses, I am still serving this scrumptious Mounds Hot Chocolate with dessert. I know everyone will love it but my side of the family will especially fight over it. My mom, my sister and I are all quite coconutty. If you dream of coconuts too, you’ll love it!

I’m totally ok with your coconut obsession when it results in a fabulous hot chocolate like this! And I’m also real jealous of your weather 🙂 We can trade spots for Christmas. I’m totally down with that!
