Milkshake in a mason jar with whip cream, chocolate sauce, and coconut flakes

Let me ask you something, what’s in your chocolate stash?

Common, don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about. Everyone has a chocolate stash. It usually involves your favorite candy of chocolate bars cleverly hidden somewhere where noone can find it. It’s usually taken advantage of when noone is home or when everyone is already asleep. Sometimes, when you’re enjoying your chocolate, you’d hear someone stir and quickly scurry to the nearest closet or the laundry room to finish your chocolate in peace. (I’m sure that every mom has eaten a candy bar in a closet, just to have it in peace. Don’t judge!)

Anyway, chocolate stash is meant for those sweet tooth or chocolate cravings we all get once in a while. It’s hidden not only from others but also from ourselves, so it’s not all eaten in one sitting.

Those cravings could be quite overwhelming and make you run around the kitchen, frantically searching for a bit of something sweet. Not gonna lie, I’ve caught myself with a jar of Nutella and a spoon before when I didn’t have anything in my secret stash.

The down side is that it can leave you pretty guilty. I need a lighter way to satisfy sweet cravings. My favorite candy bar is Almond Joy (and anything with a while lot of coconut in it), so I made this awesome light milkshake with tastes like a rich Almond Joy candy!

This milkshake is lighter because I used fat free vanilla frozen yogurt and fat free & sugar free International Delight creamer. I also used light chocolate syrup for drizzle but I found it a little too thin for making the rim. If you will want to make the coconut rim, use regular chocolate topping or even fudge topping.

*When It comes to coconut milk, I prefer using canned coconut milk from Goya only because it tastes the most like coconut. I’ve tried other coconut milk but none have the same distinct coconut flavor.*
