Only two days until the New Year’s! Are you guys getting excited? Parties to go to or party planning?
Either way you are going to celebrate it, I hope you all have fun and greet the New Year just the way to you want to! I am sharing something sweet and easy with you today. This is a very nice twist on the plain champagne that you can serve to your guests or just share with loved ones. It won’t take you long but it will offer you something extra special to toast the 2013!
This is the cocktail number four in my New Year’s countdown. You should check out One, Two and Three!
(Ingredients are for one cocktail so adjust for the amount of cocktails you will be serving.)
Ingredients:
2-3 mint leaves
1/2 tsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of hot water
Champagne
Extra mint for garnish
Directions:
1. Mince the mint leaves and mix them with sugar. Mix in the hot water and mash the mint mixture.
2. Add the mixture to the glass and top it off with champagne. Easy peace and a fresh twist on the plain old champagne.
