Alright, no more teasing!
If you remember, yesterday I shared our Bacon themed cocktail party with you. You probably noticed that I didn’t share my martini recipe. I felt that this martini deserves a post all to itself. A star like that does not want to share its spotlight with anyone!
Since the theme of my cocktail party was bacon, and more specifically, brown sugar bacon, I wanted to make a sweet cocktail with the brown sugar rim. I spent about half an hour walking around Total Wines, trying to decide on the cocktail to make. My mom’s favorite liquor is Amaretto, so I was planning on using amaretto as the main ingredient. Now, I had to find the perfect flavor buddies for it.
Amaretto, is pretty sweet on its own, so I needed something to add a little extra flavor and something to take down the sweetness a little. I found the perfect combination, although, a lethal combination. Please do take a note, this martini is like candy, it will taste sweet and smooth but it is 90% liquor so drink it slow 
Ingredients:
2 oz Amaretto
1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
3/4 oz Vodka
1 oz club soda
1/4 of an orange
Directions:
1. Rub the rim of the martini glass with am orange.
2. Pour some brown sugar in a small plate and dip the martini glass into the sugar to make the brown sugar rim.
3. Combine the Amaretto, peach schnapps, vodka, club soda and squeeze the 1/4 of the orange into the shaker. Shake and carefully pour into the martini glass.
