Now, let’s move on to my second back-to-school project featuring Smarties. If you remember, I mentioned that my sister and I had a marathon craft night a couple of weeks ago. This was the last project that we made. We made this candy box for her second teacher as a back-to-school gift. It is very easy to make and just adorable!
You will need:
A plain wooden box
Craft paint, light green
Smarties candy
Hot glue
Elmer’s Painters Markers
Apple applique
Directions:
1. Paint the box (not on the inside) and let it dry.
2. Glue the apple applique on the top and Smarties candy along the rim of the lid.
3. Using the Painter’s Marker, write “1,2,3″ and “A, B, C” along the side towards the bottom of the box.
Ta-Da!!! Easy-peasy!
