Paradise Breakfast and Tropical Creamy Dessert Fruit&Protein Smoothies #SilkFruit

As many of my devoted readers and friends already noticed, I love making meals from scratch. Although, I never tell people that its better or they should make their meals from scratch. I can understand that not everyone loooves cooking like me and not everyone has the time like me. I am very happy that I have the ability to only work part time. This leaves me plenty of time in the kitchen.
But, even though I love to make everything from scratch, I get tired too. My little man is extremely active and wears me out pretty fast. Some evenings, when I work full days, I just don’t have the energy to run abound and spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
My latest experiment with making something quick was … Smoothies!!! How much fun are smoothies? Tons of fun!!! But, buying smoothies will get very expensive, very fast. Why not make your own smoothie at home?! Yea, baby!
I needed to go to a quick shopping trip after nap time (not my nap time, I wish) and before a conference call that I had a 5 p.m. The shopping didn’t come out as “quick” as I would have hoped and we got home at 4:30. I needed something to keep the little man occupied for the conference call and he needed a snack. (I was a little hungry too, not having lunch yet.) So, I went with the “Eat Dessert First” philosophy and made us a smoothie! I had time to make the smoothie and take the pictures with time to spare before the call! Awesome!!
