When it starts to get cold outside, there is nothing better than a cup of hot chocolate and curl up on the couch with family. Last week my hubby wanted some hot chocolate and I though it was time to start making my winter rich hot chocolate. Its very easy and so delicious!
Ingredients:
2 cups of Fat Free or 1% milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cinnamon stick
Directions:
1. In a small sauce pan, heat up the milk and heavy cream on medium heat.
2. When the milk just starts boiling, add the chocolate chips, stir constantly for a couple of minutes
3. Add the cinnamon stick. Cook on medium, stirring very often until all the chocolate is melted and smooth (about 7-10 minutes)
Enjoy!!
