Heavenly Meatloaf!

This is a great classic! I’ve made this so many times and tried adding different ingredients. This is the winner! Winner in my inner circle still, but I am sharing it with all of you. I hope that you will try it and love it as much as we do.



Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 gloves of garlic
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tbs dijon mustard
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs fresh minced dill
1 tbs fresh minced parsley
Salt, pepper
Topping:
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp brown sugar


Directions:
~Preheat the oven to 350
1. Combine all the ingredients for the loaf in a bowl. Mix very well

2. Spread the meat into the loaf pan

3. Bake for about an hour and 15 minutes. (make sure that all the juices coming out clear and not pink)
4. Mix all the ingredients for the topping. Pour over the meatloaf and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

  3. When I was a child I did not like meatloaf, but ever since I’ve been an adult(a LONG time:)) I love it! Your recipe definietly sounds tasty! I need to give it a go!
    You manicotti sounds good too. I usually just make cheese manicotti, but I love mushrooms and spinach so I will add this to my “to make” list too:) Thanks!

  6. I made your meatloaf tonight and it was WONDERFUL! It is by far my favorite meatloaf recipe, yet! Meatloaf is one of those things that I make only a few times a year, but with this recipe I’m sure I’ll be making it more often. I wasn’t sure about the dill, but I’m glad I used it. The subtle flavor was fabulous! Thank you for sharing!
