Tonight, I wanted to show my support and one of my best ways to show support is offer a shoulder, a kind word and cooking!
I’ve decided to make something special. Even though, she won’t get a chance to try these because she lives so far away, I know this will at least bring a smile to her face!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
For frosting I actually used canned frosting and teal food coloring. It as the first time I ever used canned frosting, I was just very tired from work and didn’t have much time. But it still came out pretty good.
Directions:
~ Preheat oven to 350 and grease a cookie pan
5. Spoon the dough onto the cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes depending on the size of the cookie.
6. Completely cool the cookies before decorating!
